Temperature controlled European transport has been the back bone activity and core expertise within the Matthews International Group for the last 40 years.
Our European operations cover all of western Europe, the services offered are wide-ranging and no challenge is too big - as our vast experience gained over many years proves.
We provide Specialised Temperature-Controlled Services, covering transit temperatures ranging between minus 30 degrees Celsius to plus 30 degrees Celsius throughout the UK and Continental Europe using our own fleet of 140 vehicles. Our vehicles are of a very high specification, with additional security systems, twin evaporation systems to allow two separate product temperatures and dual deck trailers to carry up to 66 Euro pallets at one time.
Our vehicles are fitted with a temperature monitoring & global positioning system, which provide round-the-clock real-time control and feedback. An alarm system notifies the headquarters if there are any deviations outside set parameters, and the exact location and ETA of loads are continuously observed & assessed.
